I’m a Creator, Researcher, and Sociotechnologist who makes information about health and care more accessible to the people who need it most.

I currently work at Barclays Bank's Chief Data Office, where I ensure records management is completed in accordance with regulatory standards.

I am also a PhD student in Community Health and Prevention at Drexel University. I work under Dr. Luis Valdez on the GANAS research project, which works to decrease chronic stress in Latino men.

Previously, I worked on the Products & Transformation Team as a project manager, where I helped coordinate the large-scale movement of IT equipment for office remodels in Henderson, NV, and New York City.

I have also worked on the Run the Bank, Reference Data team. In that role, I spent most of my time creating data flow diagrams and automating manual processes. I also had the opportunity to present my human-centered, interactive data flow diagrams to several managing directors and their teams, who had never seen a project launch so successfully so quickly.

Before my time in banking, I worked on a variety of healthcare projects at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as a Clinical Research Assistant and at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group as an intern. At CHOP, I helped enroll LGBTQ+ youth at risk of contracting HIV in several digital, app-based behavioral interventions to reduce their risk of contracting HIV.

Additionally, I have a background in Information Management and specialize in studying how users interface with data to make decisions, hopefully for the collective good or at least towards chaotic neutral.

For fun, I write poems, fence, and make pottery. I also like to climb quirky rocks outside and spend time with my chosen family. Sometimes I like to travel to places where I can explore and see the vastness of the universe.

I enjoy thinking and engaging in conversations about topics like the ethics of AI and semantics. I also enjoy doing side projects such as creating a podcast that educates about COVID-19 from all angles. And if you are lucky, you may enjoy my penchant for dry humor.

I am fired up about my work and am always looking for people to dream big with.

Work Philosophy

I do not believe that there is a right way to do work. I believe that there are many ways that are right for different people at different times. With that said, I believe that passion, creativity, and innovation are the keys to success in any of the work that I do. I am also a strong advocate of collaboration.
